BUFFALO MOUNTAIN park - Trail Map
570 High Ridge Rd.

Offers 8.2 miles of moderate hiking trails with a more strenuous 1,500-foot rise from picnic area to top. All mileage is measured from picnic area. (White Rock Trail is a 4.5 mile loop).

Liberty Bell Complex
Liberty Bell Blvd.

Paved walking track circles entire Liberty Bell Complex and offers 1.7 miles of fitness area. Features a 375-meter jogging and walking surface.

Tweetsie Trail
Legion and Alabama St.

The 10-mile Tweetsie Trail is Tennessee's longest rails-to-trails project and runs along the former ET&WNC (Tweetsie) railroad between Johnson City and Elizabethton. The trail provides opportunities for walking, hiking, running, and biking on a relatively flat grade in a beautiful, natural setting.

The 1.8 miles of paved walking surface encircles the park. 

Winged deer park

A half mile flat track encircles the ballfield. The wooded, paved and lighted trails measure 1.5 miles.

Liberty Bell Recreation Trail

This 1.7-mile walking and jogging trail encircles the entire Liberty Bell Complex. Children on bikes and roller blades are welcome. No adult bikes are allowed. 
 
State of Franklin MultiUse Trail
Greenline Rd.

The trail is 2.3 miles in length and is open to all users. It starts at the intersection of Greenline Road and extends to Sunset Drive.

Riding distance from downtown Johnson City's shops, breweries, and restaurants, Tannery Knobs covers over 40 acres of heavily wooded terrain.  Designed as a skills park for all ages, riders can experience the thrill of off road riding in a progressive environment.  All trails and features have been professionally designed and built, ensuring enthusiasts and beginners alike will find the perfect ride.

Tannery Knobs is more than just bikes.  Take in the amazing views hiking or trail running. This park sits less than a mile from the Tweetsie Trail and features endless mountain views with a more than 300-foot ridgeline overlooking Johnson City.

WINGED DEER PARK - TRAIL MAP
Off Carroll Creek Road at Disc Golf Course

Built in partnership with the Tri-Cities Chapter of the Southern Off-Road Bicycle Association (SORBA), mountain bike trails suitable for beginner and intermediate riders are located near the Disc Golf Course. These trails include: 

- Freewill Trail - .2 miles, beginner
- Tom Sawyer Trail - .4 miles, beginner
- Fly By Night Trail - 2.3 miles, intermediate
- YYZ Trail - .5 miles, intermediate
- Roll the Bones Trail - .4 miles, advanced
